I documenti in PDF qui sotto sono riproduzioni del Canto liturgico gregoriano con la notazione ispirata dal Liber Usualis. Essi sono stati sviluppati per “schola” e cori degli apostolati dell’Istituto di Cristo Re. Si possono scaricare liberamente per lo studio e il canto della musica sacra.
Per semplificare la ricerca, i documenti sono stati organizzati all’incirca secondo la data.
“Il canto gregoriano fu sempre considerato come il supremo modello della musica sacra, potendosi stabilire con ogni ragione la seguente legge generale: tanto una composizione per chiesa è più sacra e liturgica, quanto più nell’andamento, nella ispirazione e nel sapore si accosta alla melodia gregoriana, e tanto è meno degna del tempio, quanto più da quel supremo modello si riconosce difforme.

In alcuni casi, i documenti contengono un canto liturgico che non si usa nel giorno indicato, ma che è interessante per ragioni storiche. Purtroppo non è stato possibile includere nei documenti delle note esplicative. Per sapere con certezza quali canti liturgici saranno cantati, i cantori dovranno consultare le varie edizioni del Liber Usualis e del Graduale Romanum, o, meglio ancora, chiedere direttamente al sacerdote.
